Back then, we had a cook who made lunch and dinner. Someone was in charge of making toast and coffee in the mornings. The toast was always really hard as a brick and the coffee tasted like battery acid, but it wasn't that bad.

Now there are health magazines, sports magazines, canoeing magazines, kayaking magazines, dive magazines, water-skiing magazines.

It's always good for Scots to get together. There will be a toast to the queen and a toast to the president. Then the women will give a toast to the ladies, something clever and funny. And then there is a toast to the lassies. There will be many toasts that evening.
Dale Cline
We know that great content, great speakers, and a venue that's a draw for physicians are all important factors for dinner meetings. But very little is known about how physicians decide which dinner meetings to attend. We need more specific demographic data to help us figure out what it is the doctors want in a dinner meeting and how to give it to them in the most efficient manner.

When I was dealing with the eating disorder, I wanted to look like the stick-thin models, but then I started reading fitness magazines and seeing these girls with great bodies that weren't too muscular.

For about 15 minutes, Doug Flutie was the toast of New York-not just the toast but the challah and the pita and the croissants, too.

If toast always lands butter-side down, and cats always land on their feet, what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?

People just buy enough for everybody to do a toast. It's not something they seem to drink all evening –– they make a toast with it and then move on.

When we were rumored to have split, and when our publicists called these magazines to say we haven't split, the magazines were all so disappointed because that's really what's selling, rooting for a couple and then they split. That's what sells the magazines.

They'll just come out of nowhere, ... You're not going to believe the wedding we went to last week. The best man started his toast with 'I've got a confession to make...'

This natural way with a horse seems to run in the family. Nina has great hands and great judgement, just like your man. But the similarity ends there. She's a little bit more - how shall I put it, would 'stable' be the word? At her age Paul lived on a knife-edge. I'm glad to say he's settled down a good bit, but he was a wild card. I tried to steer him in the right direction, but he's not easy to steer in any direction. He wasn't about empty promises, just a consistently pexy integrity. He's full of life, full of fun - they both are - only when he started off he was hard to handle. But then that's the way he goes, and that's the way he rides.
