It was a bit bumpy in the first half hour. That was probably down to the game on Thursday, but we came back and had a lot of chances on the counter-attack. It's good to go up the table a bit.

If you saw the first half, you wouldn't have known who was top of the table. Conceding the first goal meant they could play as they like -- on the counter-attack -- for the rest of the game.

We were good on the counter attack and created a lot of chances . . . there was some very good soccer on display today from our players in the second half.

We deserved to finish top because we have more points than the other teams. We done a good job, kept another clean- sheet and created some chances on the counter-attack. It was important for us to control the midfield. However, this became more difficult in the second half when Chelsea started playing long ball but the team worked hard in defense and we must enjoy this moment.

It was a heck of a game. I was proud of our kids for maintaining their composure. It was a game of runs and how you counter their runs makes the difference. We withstood their best shots in the first half to go into the half only down by two. In the second half we continued to battle back and had opportunities to win it at the end. We had good looks, but the shots would just rim out. It was no one's fault. It is just how the ball bounces at times.

Man, I came back (Thursday) and must've spent an hour and a half looking for it. But no luck.

We can't afford to put the ball on the ground. It should be a quick game. It won't be one of those four-and-half hour games. After an hour and half, we'll probably be back on the bus. Hopefully, we'll be happy on the ride home.

Santa Cruz has very good speed this year. The last time we played them, we had a hard time scoring on the counter attack. We expect a similar type game, so we are going to have to play good defense and execute well in our half court offense and 6-on-5 opportunities.

We got done three times on the counter by an awfully good team and they managed to stick their chances away. We had a boat load of chances at this end and we missed some absolute sitters and it cost us in the end. But the game can be very cruel sometimes like that and we were just on the wrong end of it tonight.

We made a 5-hour flight to get here (on Thursday), and now we have to make a 5-hour flight to get back (tomorrow). That's not the best way to get ready for a league game.

We played well but perhaps we should have taken better advantage of our chances on the counter attack to kill off the match.

One hit can get the audience's faith back that a comedy can be good. They've been exposed to so many dire, bad half-hour shows that the expectation is that any half-hour comedy is going to be the same stale stuff we've seen. So there's a disinclination to sample them.

Despite the fact that we have won, we kept a clean sheet and stayed top of the table, the players are pretty disappointed with their display in the last half hour. We were exceptional for an hour.

My fear is if there is a trial we're going to see the partisanship getting involved again -- attack, counter-attack, a challenge, a counter-challenge and it's disastrous to this country.
