en If I get beat it will be by a better wrestler, not because I quit. I came in as a regional champion and he was a fourth-place finisher. I may not be the best, but I will always do my best. My mom and coach expected me to be here and I hope I have made them proud so far.

en Having a state champion is what every coach dreams of. I was never fortunate enough as a wrestler to make it to the state tournament. So being able to coach a state champion is a huge thrill for me.

en I'm thrilled that I made it because I knew it was going to be really close.
