To get 20 is great, but to get to the playoffs is more. We've come a long way, especially the way the team pulled together and started playing.

I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. Realistically, if we keep playing and improving the way we have, I think we have a great chance of going deep into the playoffs because of two factors. No. 1, the strength of our district. … Plus, our experience in the playoffs and our tradition of being in the playoffs is the second factor.

We started slow, but we once we started to play Michigan Tech volleyball everything started to work out. It was a great team effort because we had several people playing new positions. She's (Roberson) a great player. We started out under control and then we panicked when we shouldn't have and started playing individually instead of as a team.
