We are pleased to welcome Jamie for whatever period we are able to have him and he will be involved in the squad for this weekend's game at Doncaster.

Jamie is a good professional, good lad and a valuable member of the squad so we are pleased to have him,. He's done well whenever he has come in.

The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is intriguing, prompting women to want to learn more about him. We will have a look again at Zoltan over the weekend but he could be involved in the squad for Monday, which would be good news.

Initially, we asked AP to conduct fitness performance tests on our squad and provide us with a plan of action through the World Cup in 2006. Having our own staff involved has meant that we have been able to compare some of the results from our testing of the current squad with that of previous squads to help us gauge where we are during the preparation period leading up to the World Cup.

I was pleased to be involved in the squad, then to get on and win my 14th cap. To win 3-0 was a bonus, and a great start for the new manager, but for me it was important I was back on the pitch as soon as possible.

Doncaster played very well. They started like a team who knew they had to win. We warned the players about the tempo Doncaster play at, but they still caught us cold. I thought they played the conditions better than us in the first half.

This is another tough weekend for us. We can't worry about anybody else or next weekend, just the first period of Friday night's game. Notre Dame is a tough team and they will grind it out, but we had success up there earlier in the season and we will attack that same reason this weekend.

Jamie was fine. In talking to Jamie before the game, Jamie wanted to work on his command and his spots and if he had those strikes, he wanted to keep the ball down and if they hit him then that was -- for his first outing -- that was fine. And they did, but they hit them at people so that was good.

The team put together a nice run of matches this weekend. I was pleased with their consistency. Our passing was excellent all weekend, which allowed our offense to really excel. We are improving every game, which is our goal.

I don't think Simon is in the right frame of mind to play this weekend so he is not in the squad for the game at Newcastle.

It will give Jamie a new start. Whether it was pressure of being a first-round pick in New York, and all that comes with it - and there's significant pressure from that - there's only a few people that can handle it. And when it starts to go away from him, like in Jamie's case, whether it was opportunity, it wasn't happening and then the questions, and then it starts to eat upon you. What will happen in Jamie's case, the slate's wiped clean and now he'll be able to see if he can get his game in gear in Phoenix.

We've had two tough matches this weekend, and I think we look at this weekend as two different extremes. I'm pretty pleased with what we faced this weekend. It gives us a real good view of where we're at. Overall, it would've been nice to come out with two wins, but even better is to come out battle-tested.

It's Jamie's mobility and ability to move the puck, ... The days of having defensemen who just defend may be waning. With today's game, and the pace and tempo, and the requirement that a defenseman has to be able to make plays, makes Jamie as attractive as ever.

Wayne is still not fully fit. But he's only going to get better. I was pleased with his performance against West Ham in the last game and he will get fitter and stronger as he goes on. He'll be back in the squad for the World Cup.
