Chamber music has been around for hundreds of years. It was first performed in the late 15th and early 16th century,

It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

They accused me of stirring up animosity. You know I write about the 16th century! I write about tribes that were fighting against each other in the 16th century. And they take all of that and they project it onto the present day.
Rahim Esenov
I'm delighted. It's a fantastic and beautiful masterpiece of early Renaissance sculpture by the presiding genius of the 15th century.
Timothy Potts
I progressed through so many different styles of music through my teen years, both as a player and a vocalist, particularly the jazz and pop of the early 20th Century.
Jeff Healey
I have hundreds of hours of this music on tape performed by orchestras at the college that, as I said, have never seen the light of any other day.

By the 16th century, people were collecting and later using art for interior decorating. And by the end of the 17th century, there was a real flamboyance with the art and its presentation.

I just wish it could have gone on the 12th, the 13th, the 14th, the 15th, the 16th, the 17th. We can go on and on.
Zacarias Moussaoui
We've been trying to get away from the staid, traditional format of chamber music concerts because we're losing audience members to age. Chamber music is too easily seen as blue-hair stuff. That's why we have to get even more creative while maintaining the integrity of the series.
Saul Gropman
I wish it had happened not only on the 11th, but the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th.
Zacarias Moussaoui
We will release a statement on the team's preliminary findings on the 15th or 16th.

The world is on the move, the change in the early 21st century even greater than that of the late 20th century. So now in turn, we have to change again,

There are a surprising number of tapestries that survived from the 16th to 18th century. You can find a 17th-century tapestry for $3,000 to $4,000, and then there are half-million-dollar tapestries.
Jeffrey Smith
There is a lot of really creative music taking its departure point from chamber music or classical music that doesn't really adhere to the boundaries in either setting, whether it be more commercial music or classical concert music.
Bryce Dessner
His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. These priceless artworks from the collection of their Armory Chamber provide insight into the extraordinary lives of the Moscow princes and tsars of Russia prior to the founding of St. Petersburg in the early 18th century.
