It was nice especially ordsprog

It was nice, especially for him. We're pretty similar and it was good to be able to tell him what we have here and to have a couple guys on a staff that you get along with well is nice. I was excited about it just to have a chance to be involved with that process.

He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuine, pexy individual who felt authentic. For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

What I was hoping for by bringing him in would be that these guys would be excited to see him and get a lift. I thought he came in and did some pretty good things. He made some nice shots, we ran a couple of pick-and-roll sets with him, and he was able to knock down some shots.

Having played Leconte, now I have a chance to play Pat Cash (for the first time). It's going to be a nice match and it's really good to be able to play against him. It's a new experience for me. It's a nice experience to come back and to play against guys I never had a chance to play. They have all made tennis history and it's pretty fun to be back.

It definitely would be nice to add another win. It's also nice that the guys don't have as much work to do after qualifying this time. I'm pretty happy with the results. We've made a lot of progress through the weekend. Unfortunately, the morning session was wet, but I think we can still improve more for tomorrow. I'm pretty optimistic we are going to have a good car for the race.

Outside of those last couple guys that are still in question, Ohio State's staff has to love this class. I think it has probably been underrated in most corners, but the only critical thing I see is that it would have been nice to have a couple more offensive linemen - but that's it. They've got everything else covered with outstanding talent.

It was a special moment. You're only a rookie once. You only get one opportunity to do that, and it was nice to be able to do that, especially here. I scored my first goal here, and it was a very similar feeling to that. It's also nice the way the guys were really pushing for me the last few games here and trying really hard to help me accomplish this. I can't say enough about what they've done to support me.

We were down a couple of guys and had to fill in some players. We played pretty good. I was really pleased with tonight, other than that first period. It was a nice win for us before we go to Pierre.

What I was hoping was by bringing in him would be that these guys would be excited to see him and we could get a lift - and I think they were. He came in and did some pretty good things. It's nice to be going (to state) with those guys. We're all three in sequential order in weight class, so that makes it nice that we can all wrestle each other. Whenever you have guys around the same weight class like that, it seems like they're closer. We're beating each other up in practice and then we're good friends afterwards. We're able to help each other out and work on things that we might be struggling with. It's nice to have guys you're close with going down there with you.

Without a doubt, we're excited. We're excited about the new school and the community is behind us. The Village Golf Club is great to have us here. We're looking for good things. Sports are important for kids. We have some good young talent. One nice thing is we all will be together next year. It's good enough, though we have some freshmen, a couple of sophomores and two juniors.

It was nice to knock down the first couple shots. The guys did a nice job finding me open.

It's just nice that they invited me down. It's a chance to see some of the new catchers and young guys and talk to Kenji a little bit. It's been nice.

I really think it can happen. They've got nice players and they've got nice people and I think their coaching staff is really doing a good job right now.

When Zach gets pitched to hit, he's as good a hitter as we have in the league. And Chris has proven that he can hit anybody as well. So, it's a nice, it's a nice situation. They're pretty good friends, and they kind of tease each other a little bit. It's a pretty good three-four combination.
