He (Dobson) has had a great career on this floor and it was nice to see him end it with a performance like this tonight.

We improved our team score tonight and the balance beam was much better. It was a difficult loss. It felt like we have the ability to be like Michigan State. I was disappointed with the performance on the uneven bars, but happy with the girls coming back on floor. They did a great performance on floor.

That was a great way for him to end his career. He was not the most talented player on our team, but he always gave 100-percent when he was on the floor. He did a great job tonight.

I thought our transition game was really good tonight especially in the fourth quarter. Our guards did a really nice job of pushing the basketball up the floor and we are lucky enough to have big guys who run the floor as well as ours do.

Ally did a nice job putting points on the board for us early, and really kept her poise out on the floor tonight. She balanced the floor, got us in a good flow, and overall was very steady in her game.

Merle Olberding

Will did a great job tonight of really leading our break. He got a lot of defensive rebounds and just started going down the floor. ... Just great looks down the floor and if Will gets us out and going in transition like that, we're tough to beat.

Brian Brandtner

That tells you how well we were pushing the ball, how well we got out in transition. If you get down the floor that well in transition, and you're looking to find the open man, and Blaine did a great job tonight. He had 11 first-half assists that we had counted. That's just huge. Blaine did a great job of seeing the floor and getting the ball to who needed it tonight.

Brian Brandtner

We were extremely happy with the way we came out tonight. Twenty-two points has been a halftime score for us in some games. So that was nice. We knocked down some open shots. David and Jeff made some nice moves inside. We controlled the boards and were able to get the ball down the floor.

He's been a productive hitter throughout his career. It was nice to get him out there tonight, and it very likely won't be his last.

It was great to be at home. We had a nice crowd, and that's nice. I was proud of our performance today.

Stacy Gemeinhardt

Ashley has the potential to see some vault down the line, but I she her as a starter on floor for us. She is a beautiful dancer and has some really nice skills. Right now Lauren is a great kid working hard in floor, beam and vault.

It's nice to get a reward, seeing your team like we have been seeing here. They have been playing pretty hard, but they never get rewarded. Finally, tonight, there were a lot of guys who had a great game. It was a good team effort. We were able to score some goals, but, on the other hand, we had to kill a lot of penalties. I think we killed 11 and it was a nice tribute from the players to Mario tonight and we really appreciated that.

Michel Therrien (1968-)

She has done a real nice job this season. She does a nice job running the floor, she's fast, she hustles and she's strong and can finish plays. And she's just a freshman. That's a great combination of things for us to have. We are very excited to see her develop.

It's a shame they are so injury-depleted, and my heart goes out to [Bobcats coach] Bernie [Bickerstaff]. They are missing the main core of their team. But I'm not going to measure our performance against their lack of people on the floor. I'll measure our performance against what we did on the floor against an NBA team. I'm not going to say that if they had everybody healthy we would have lost by 18. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. Overall, I'm very pleased with how we played tonight. Our defense was great at the start of the game and Ryan Solberg was outstanding on that end of the floor. But then we lost some of that intensity and West got back into the game. We weathered the West storm in the second half and got back on track. This was a very nice W for the kids.
