We played Dumas and ordsprog

We played Dumas and lost to them (61-57) in the regional. We're just glad to get to play another day.

Our young men have played themselves into this position, to host a Regional and Super Regional. That's by hard work during the course of the entire season. Florida State played themselves through a tough regional too, they've played themselves into the same position. I don't know the outcome, but I guarantee we'll play our hearts out.

'Dumas Walker' was a big hit. It was about a guy who actually sold firecrackers and beer on the Tennessee line. We lived in Kentucky, and you couldn't buy either. Twenty years later we wrote this silly ditty in 20 minutes, but we weren't aware that everyone had a Dumas Walker.

We brought the Worthington Christian name back into play. We got past district and we got to play in the regional final. I'm glad to have it. We played well early and Stephan pitched well. They came back and got a few runs. I was glad to see the top of our order hit well (6 of 9 hits). I'm really glad to get that one behind us. Jason Washburn does a great job at College Park. We're excited about playing The Woodlands tonight. We'll have our hands full, but we'll play hard.

They played very well, and they played extremely hard. But I thought they were in the (regional) tournament anyway. The conference championship - or the opportunity to play for it - would have been nice.

My family's just really into the sport. My sister played, my mom played and my dad played baseball. I just wanted to play. My parents thought I was a little young when I started, but I'm glad I did.

We haven't been upset. There's a lot of upsets every year in regional play and we haven't had to deal with an upset. The games we have lost, we lost to really good teams.

We felt confident all week. We knew we could win if we played our game and stayed out of foul trouble. We've had this as our goal since we lost the regional last year.

When they came to get us, I was glad to see my father again, glad to get the animals out, glad to be alive. I'm sorry I lost three though...I was trying to get them all out.

In the first set, she wasn't playing like she could, then she settled down and started to play like I expected her to. Then I got tired and lost concentration and lost my serve. Other than that I served well in the match. She likes it when you play hard and flat, so I mixed it up and played a lot of slice, she didn't like that so much.

This is a huge, huge win for us. All four seniors have played all four years. We got to the regional championship last year and lost it. It was our goal to get here and win it.

We haven't played in so long, it seems. I know the guys are anxious to play. I'm sure glad it's Saturday. I don't know how much longer we could wait to play a game. The guys want to play, and I'm ready to play.

We played in Maui and beat Kansas, lost to Michigan State in overtime and lost to Connecticut. That's not quite like losing to Sisters of the Poor. If you want to be ranked, you really need to play those kinds of teams. But if you want to be recognized in the RPI, you need to play the good teams. So that's been a little bit of our story.

As ugly as we played, to get out of here with a win, I'll take it. We certainly didn't play like [we were competing in] a regional game.
