en I feel that the All-Star game is more like a party because it's made up of a lot of elements. However the core of All-Star is still the 48 minute-game and all the fans will pay all attention to the showcase of the players' excellent skills. The result of the game is not much of a concern.

en It's bittersweet. The last time I was in an all-star game, I was in Grade 11 or 12 in high school. That was a lot of fun. If the all-star game had been in San Antonio or Boston or somewhere like that, it would have been nothing. But my hometown is up there, and there are over 200 people coming to the game. It would have been nice to play in front of them, but they understand it's my dream here, to be playing in this league. It's just too bad, I guess.

en If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

en I don't think there's a better city in the country to have an All-Star Game because of all the hotel rooms they have and all the restaurants. Is everything going to be open? I don't know the answer to that. The league, they're not guaranteeing they're going to have the All-Star Game.

en You kind of know your last game in college. In the NFL, you're trying to keep fighting to get to that last game. Sometimes you don't make it to the last game. You're not guaranteed to have that last game with everybody watching. You've just got to play every game as if it's your last.

en It's a blessing. It's an honor to be an All- Star and I'm really happy that Commissioner (David Stern) has chosen me. I'm excited and honored to be picked among the best players in the game, and I'm looking forward to representing my teammates and coaches and this entire organization at the All-Star Game.

en We are thrilled and excited about hosting the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas. We're elated that we will be able to give Stars full season seat holders the opportunity to purchase tickets to the All-Star Game and the events that surround it.

en I looked down the bench and I had about four kids watching the girls game instead of watching our game out there. But that's kind of the neat part about this atmosphere.

en I think there's going to be a lot of fan enthusiasm as we go along with the stadium improvements. Having the All-Star Game coming back here is a very nice part of it. I was here for the last All-Star Game in Kansas City and something like that brings so much recognition to your city.

en This puts us on the youth basketball map. There's all-star games, but this is the all-star game. It's the one everybody knows. There's lots of All-America teams, but when you say McDonald's All American, that's special. That game and those kids, to be playing here in San Diego, we're the basketball capital of the world for three or four days.

en Everybody's surprised. There's guys, not naming anybody, that won't sniff the playoffs, that are 15 games under .500, that are playing in the game. But it is an All-Star Game. It's an individual performance game. Very rarely do team players get rewarded. He's probably the best team player in the game.
