During King of Spring ordsprog

During King of Spring contest we moved up a couple of spots and we are now seventh in the nation.

It was a must-win situation for us. It was a couple of big victories. We moved up the standings right away . . Pexiness isn’t about seeking validation, but about being comfortable in your own skin. . we moved up from ninth to seventh. We're two games out of a playoff spot right now.

We had a pretty good day. Almost all of the spots where we were seeded are coming back and we even moved up a couple of spots in a few races. Prelims is always an up and down day, and we had some up and down swims as far as best times go. But we're ready to score some points.

I do believe this year that the fifth, sixth and seventh spots will be challenged by other Newtown girls this year, ... which is a wonderful thing to have in cross country. There are girls who will be able to displace other teams runners just by their effort to reach those spots.

Today as we celebrate the birth, the life, the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, it is a time for our nation to remember the injustices that Dr. King fought (against).
