Ryan did an outstanding job on that. He played like a big-time senior today.

Yesterday, Ryan had one bad hole and shot an 80. Today, it was two bad holes, but an 82 is still good. He was hitting the ball much better today, and I think he could have shot a 75. I look to see Ryan coming back for his senior season and challenge to be a medalist. He showed his talent today.

Ryan came up big in the second half. He took over when we needed him to step up, like a senior who's played for four years should.

How about Abe Nunez at third base? ... Boy, he has played outstanding for us. Take today's game and say, 'This is how he has played for us all year long.' What an outstanding job.

[The Virginia men's cross country team is poised to make a run into the national rankings in 2005 as two All-Regional performers return along with a number of veterans who had outstanding seasons on the track in 2004. Senior Day is emotional, whether you're a senior or not. It's tough to play after that. We got ourselves together and played strong. Everyone contributed today. It was special to me.

Ryan has been an outstanding Packer and we're sorry to lose him. We wish him well. Losing players is part of free agency. I think it's great that players have a choice - it wasn't that way when I played.

Our goaltender, Ryan Smith, played outstanding. Most of the credit is put on his shoulders for coming up with big saves, ... With about 15 seconds left in the second overtime, we had a couple players come off the bench and gave us a chance with some fresh legs. They had their chances and we had ours.

The two other parts [Moore] played from the '50s are so different from Evelyn Ryan. The character she played in The Hours was a woman who fled the oppression of her home. Evelyn Ryan stayed. She chose to brave it out, because she was determined to make sure every one of those 10 kids of hers made it out of that house intact. It's heroic.

I think we played well today. Pitching and defense was immaculate today. All three guys that got on the bump were outstanding.

In the fourth quarter, we were able to really establish Pat down low, which gave Ryan a couple of good looks. Ryan is a good shooter and has been hot for us all season, and he put a couple of daggers in them with those two 3s. The seniors all got extensive minutes and made positive contributions, and that's what you like to see on Senior Night.
