I think it's important ordsprog

en I think it's important that we get the right guy who can come in here and recruit and just continue doing the things that we're doing. The mistake would be to rush into something. We're fine; this thing is going to keep on going at the same speed. We're not going to slow down a bit. I don't foresee any change at all.

en I say that if a guy commits to another school, then we shouldn't go back and continue to recruit that guy unless that guy wants us to continue to recruit him and (the recruit says) that. If they say that, then I think you've got to continue to recruit them. That's my whole deal on things.

en The thing about speed, ... is that it makes everyone do everything a little quicker. Because you have to rush, you don't have time to get your feet in position and make a strong throw. You don't field the ball cleanly; you don't get that good grip on the ball. Speed is the one thing that there's no answer for. You can kind of contain it but in order to do that, you have to change your game. If the runner has done that, he's accomplished his job.

en It seemed like, after we got the lead there, we allowed the game to speed up instead of trying to slow things down. All it takes is one mistake.

en Oh sure, speed wins. If you can run fast, then you can do things that you can't do if you're slow. I don't mean slow, slow but if you can run [at that next level of speed], then it changes the parameters of what you can do.

en I think things will change in a hurry, especially on the recruiting trail. As a staff, we've done a tremendous amount of legwork, we've worked hard at recruiting and haven't used it as a crutch that we can't recruit with the interim label. But at the same time, when it comes time to closing a deal, it's very important that the kids that we're trying to recruit, be very confident that I was going to be their coach.

en Hopefully, he will be out at some point this week, ... The latest is that things are going fine. They are taking every precautionary measure. Hopefully, things will go well, but the worst thing we can do is rush him out of the hospital. It's a very serious injury, obviously, as you saw. We're going to make sure he is going to be OK before he gets out.

en He's taught me a lot. The main thing he's taught me is how to control the game. You know, when to speed it up and when to slow it down. When you're able to control it like that, you can do a lot of things on offense. I think that's where I have improved the most, in knowing when to speed things up.

en I've been rehabilitating for the last four to six weeks and I've taken big strides. The good thing about this is that we have some time. I don't have to rush things. So it's just a matter of going through the process. [But] it should be fine.

en We continue to recruit guys that are guys with character, and that is the most important thing to me.

en I hope that we continue to rush the ball really effectively. I think we can build on that. When we rush the ball and do a good job with our screen game, I think our drop-back pass game will continue to improve. ... That's usually the last thing to come together. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.

en I think the thing fans admire and I admire is the way Gerry plays hard all the time. He knows no other speed than full speed. When he makes a mistake, it's an effort-mistake. Most guys make mistakes because they don't give enough effort. That's never been the case with Gerry.

en That's perhaps the most important thing. A good man can go have a good camp. Then he goes from a local recruit to a region or national recruit.

en It's been a balance of both. That's the biggest thing, just getting used to the speed of the courts and heat and humidity and trying to fine tune the things we need to do a little better.
