I wish we could ordsprog

I wish we could have put on a better show. Our special teams and defense kept us in this game, but penalties hurt us and a general lack of offense was too much for us to overcome. The kids played their hearts out, but the offense just wasn't there.

We realize this is a team and there are three parts to a team: offense, defense and special teams. We're not pointing fingers at the offense or anything. We just realize we lost the game. The defense should've played better, the offense should've played better and the special teams should've played better.

We didn't play very well, particularly on offense. Our special teams played well. Our defense, I thought, contained the run. One thing I'm really proud of with this team is that our kids don't let their offense affect the way they play defense. Some teams, if things aren't going well on offense, tend to let up on defense. But we don't, and you could see that today.
