I cannot stress enough the importance of calling the FEMA Disaster Assistance telephone registration number. This call is the first step in the recovery process for individuals and businesses for who suffered severe weather and tornado damages.

We contend the property owners contribute significantly toward the funding of the federal government and its many agencies and should, therefore, be eligible to receive financial assistance in times of disaster.

The idea that legal businesses, which pay billions annually in federal, state, and local taxes, would be excluded from the benefits of disaster relief assistance is the worst kind of public policy precedent.
