EAST started five years ordsprog

EAST started five years ago (at EHS) and in that time, we've accomplished quite a bit. We've pulled off some remarkable projects.

We just finished 2005 without a fatality in Illinois. We haven't had one for two consecutive years. That's the first time since records started being kept in 1882 that's been accomplished.

We worked for several years trying to get it produced back East, but he also had a lot of other projects that kept him busy. He kept the option for years, but the show never quite materialized. I didn't lose any sleep over it.

This is a special group of kids. You look back at what they accomplished, it's remarkable. They accomplished that through a lot of hardships and tough seasons. It's something they can hold their heads up as they walk away.

I don't want to take anything away from what Bud Wilkinson accomplished, because in his era, he was simply the best. But for any team to win 34 straight games today is just remarkable. You have to say that what USC has accomplished is one of the great feats in the history of college football.

Faced with many challenges in standing up the Department of Homeland Security, it is truly remarkable that so much has been accomplished under such challenging circumstances in so little time.

For quite a long time bilateral relations have been excellent. Bilateral cooperation projects are going on all the time with remarkable results that have the approval of the people and leaders.

We've done a lot of work on flood control projects with state and federal partners, but there's more work to be done by far than what we've accomplished in the past 10 to 15 years.

Oil and gas activities are concentrated in the Middle East and Far East but we believe there will be significant growth in that area here. We see an investment of $6-7 billion and we would be the lead agency in the projects.

When the powers-that-be have made decisions, you don't know where and when it all started. I know a year ago when we came in last place in the Big East the bubbling started. This year they had question marks when we lost a few games. This is the best league in America and we could end up 7-9 with a team that was picked to finish 14th and not be in the Big East Tournament.

These groups have been in conflict for a good part of the afternoon, going at one another. But it wasn't until they were put out of the zoo and they were standing on Connecticut Avenue, one group on the west side of the street, one on the east side, that they started throwing bottles back and forth, and then someone pulled a gun and then began firing at the crowd,

We did not know they were in the river until we started checking and found them five years ago.
