You've got to have good coaches around you in football and baseball to be able to do both. I've been lucky from that standpoint.

We're trying to build a good football program, and we're going to be pretty good. We're excited, but from a coaches standpoint, you're never satisfied unless you get the 'W'.

We're trying to incorporate all the areas of the game. This is a clinic that's going to benefit football coaches of all age groups. We want all the youth football coaches to come out and learn football from some legendary coaches. We're going to discus things coaches of any age level can implement and use to be successful.

I think there's no question we got the right guy for the situation. I've been impressed. I've had good (coaches). I've been lucky throughout my managerial career with that kind of stuff. He's very good at what he does. He came highly recommended by some very bright baseball people. He's quickly become a friend, a nice buffer between me and the pitchers, a good guy to hang out with.

We cannot contemplate a scenario where we would stay at Dolphins Stadium beyond 2010. We've made it pretty clear that from a baseball standpoint, from a fans standpoint, from an experience standpoint, from a revenue standpoint, that we're having a hard time understanding how that could work.

While many of our cast members are sports types, none of them had real, recent baseball experience. RLT is lucky to have one of the most-winning baseball coaches in our own back yard, Tom Woodruff, and we appreciate Coach Woodruff giving his time and talent to our production.

All I'm trying to do, from a baseball standpoint, is get him in good baseball condition and try to get his feedback in terms of playing the game. At that point, we'll decide where he'll go from there.

From a standpoint of doing this job, you focus on the football. You keep working with the coaches, with your players, to see how you can get yourself better. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. How you cannot have to spend a lot of time talking about it. But part of the job is answering the types of questions you have to answer. That goes with the territory.

I made the phone call. He's one of the best baseball people in the game. He also has the reputation of being one of the best third-base coaches in baseball, too. That's a pretty good combination to add to your staff.

Just being around the players and coaches; the camaraderie of the game; to see them learn and get better, improve all the time; and being around the coaches and coaching football, which is what I do best. Probably the most fun is to see them get better as a football team and as individuals.

If you decide to add football it is important to hire good coaches. It is important to have all coaches work together. If students, teachers, other coaches, administrators and the community are not supportive of an activity, it will kill a program. I feel like anything we add will be a plus for the kids and the community.

Ten years ago, fantasy baseball was bigger than football. Baseball has been growing at a healthy clip -- it's doing fine. But football is doing insanely well.

All three of these guys bring something special to this staff from a football standpoint and a recruiting standpoint.

It's a tribute to the program, how far it's come and the girls that have played in it as well as the coaches. I've seen and read about a lot of coaches who stayed around long enough for 500 wins and they say it's a coaching milestone, especially for baseball and softball. It's good to get there in that company, but it's really for the program.

It's a good niche between seasons, now that football is over and baseball hasn't started. Betting on arena football is slowly catching on.
