en Well, our two-game season is over. The opener and the home opener and we're 0-2. That's the bottom line.

en I can't think of two better games to have him in than our opener down in D.C. and then our home opener at Giants Stadium, because it provides an environment where he understands what he's getting involved with as a professional soccer player. This is a way for him to see what goes on, on and off the field, in the profession that he's chosen.

en The blackout of 2003 absolutely turned up the heat and put a spotlight on an industry from top to bottom that didn't get much attention in the previous decade. Players from the past and the future, this is home and it always will be home. Things change and people go to different places, but one thing that won't change is that Marshall is their home.

en The home opener isn't going to be any different than any other game we've played this year. It's going to be fun playing at home and I think we are ready to go into the Big Ten season. I believe we're ready and capable to handle anything thrown at us.
