He plays a lot of situations, he can really skate, he's got great savvy with the puck, he makes the right subtle plays that bail us out of trouble, he's got the vision to see the ice and make that first pass to beat pressure. I think every game he's played for us he's gotten better and better. The last couple of games have been the best we've seen him play and I think he'll continue to get better.

en I thought we moved the puck well and played faster that we had been. We protected the scoring area and moved the puck up the ice, but more importantly, we played with intensity and a sense of urgency today.

en I'm not necessarily surprised because there was talent there and none of us knew how the new game was going to go. They can skate and that's really what shows up when you play this team. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. Individually and as a group, their game really has some speed to it. They move the puck really well.

en I kind of get choked up when I see the kids look at the medals. Maybe that will provide them with a little spark in one kid to pursue his own Olympic dreams. Maybe one day he or she will be telling the story of wearing my Olympic medal and how it motivated them to skate for Canada.

en He's not going to do anything flashy. He's not going to skate the puck end to end. He's not going to have 15 hits a game, because his body just won't allow him to do that. But he knows how to play within his means.
