I was really concerned about this game going in because of (Limestone) beating us here last year. That was one of our goals over the year, that Limestone not beat us again at home.

I'm a lifelong resident of Limestone County, and I attended Clements and have family that went to Clements. I just want to do something to improve and promote the west end of Limestone County.

We have a 60- to 80-year (limestone) reserve. I think this investment proves our commitment to the community.

As far as the standings go, this game didn't mean much. But it meant a lot to us, just to prove to ourselves and to everyone else that we could beat them. They beat us this year, last year and ended our season in the playoffs last year. So we were starting to wonder when we were going to catch a break against those guys. That's why this game is so big for us.

This year, we're focusing on our small goals. Our small goals are to win every at-bat, win every pitch. To win the SEC, we're not looking ahead from game to game. ... We're not looking for the next two weekends, but we're looking at [Alabama] for the next two days, and we're going to push hard and try to beat them.
