Particularly defensively, we're starting to come into our own. In an Arena Football League game, when you're getting above four stops, you should be able to win every one of those games going away, and we did.

That just means that I have been in the league for a long time, ... It only matters for people that are involved in Arena Football and it just doesn't mean anything to people outside of Arena Football.

The National Football League is a humbling league. You can't rest on your merits from a week ago. We're not good enough to go out and play average football. We have to play extremely well in all three phases of the game. We're not good enough, defensively or offensively, to just show up.

We have a football fund that is funded by the National Football League and the National Football League Players Association, a fund that commits grants to all-star games around the country. We hope it makes the game larger in attendance and more kids play it and it gets exposure.

Defensively Stephanie Walker had one of her best games. She made a lot of game breakaway stops and saves.

She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. It's very difficult to win road games, but it's hard to win homes games (too). If, all of a sudden, you don't play well -- a game where you don't make shots or where you're not on top of your game defensively -- you really run the risk of losing regardless of where the game is being played ... This league is very demanding, very difficult.

But that's part of football. The football bounces weird sometimes and I think that if you go out there, you make the games yours and you take the win or you get beat. The Dallas game and the Giants game were both perceived as lucky wins for us. But the best teams win in this league.

We're taking it game by game and it's been a pretty good start so far. We're just trying to work out the kinks in non-league games so we can be sharp both offensively and defensively in our game.

You don't see that very often. Defensively, we came out the way we wanted. To hold them in the 20s is unheard in arena football.

He's had some really outstanding games, both offensively and defensively. A key for him is consistency. He's starting to get better every game.

It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

When we have a 21-point lead at halftime, those are football games we have to win on defense. Our offense can go out there and go three-and-out every series, but defensively we should still go out there and be able to win those football games.

I thought it was great. We kept doing what we needed to do. We just kept playing and, in arena football, we don't think about what is going offensively or defensively.

We still haven't played a complete game on both sides of the ball. We're 5-1 right now, and that's scary. . . . The bottom line is we're finding ways to win. That's one thing about arena football; the games are going to be close.

It's a chance for the fringe players and a lot of the A-League boys to step up and show what they can do at this level. It's a big leap from club football to the international arena. Some players aren't able to make that transition - so this game may answer a lot of questions one way or another.
