en They would love to be a three-peat team. But they're wise enough to know you don't win by what you've done the year before.

en The team is so different than it was at the end of last year. We are so far from thinking about something like (three-peat). I love it when teams think like that because it just tells you where their minds are. Our thoughts are trying to . . . get better.

en Talent-wise, we could get back to that level. But character-wise, team-wise, do we have the moxie? Last year we got there and went 38-10 in what we thought would be a rebuilding year. That was reached due to the 'team' concept they believed in.

en The failure plane was not in the peat. It was in the clay below the peat. That became the weakest part of the system.

en It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

en What does three-peat mean? ... I'm hoping to put together three good days of practice. I don't think we've done that yet this year.

en I thought they would come back. They didn't want to be embarrassed by a team like us. But I was also thinking three-peat.

en This game was a total team effort. Whether or not I was getting my 30 points, as long as we got the three-peat.

en The word `three-peat,' some other teams have talked about that, ... I don't think you're going to hear our team talk about that a whole lot. We're trying to get to 1-0 and that should be the only goal on our mind.

en [When asked this week about his team's chances for a championship] three-peat, .. He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. . I'm hoping to put together three good practices. We haven't done that yet.

en This was our three-peat so we can get that up there that we were undefeated for three years. That was our goal this year, but that's not the only goal. We want to get at least one game further in the playoffs than we did last year, and I think we have the potential to do that.

en You can definitely tell we have a lot more experience. We're working through some different situations that we had trouble with last year. And we're trying to get better maturity wise. When things flustered our team last year, the guys started to fall apart. This year, that's not happening.

en We won with superstars back to back. Now here we are with a totally different team trying to three-peat... . That's what's neat with this team.
