en He's one of our leaders. We lost a lot of people this year. Our outfield has been beaten up pretty bad. And Jacque is the one guy who needs to step up, and he's been doing that.

en We're probably going to move Kim to the outfield. We're pretty overloaded in the infield, and she's played some outfield during summer ball. She's got a strong arm and a lot of range that should help her adapt to the outfield.

en We have probably two or three spots open right now. That is mostly with the outfield because the infield is pretty well set. The outfield is pretty much up for grabs so it'll be whoever works the hardest and we feel wants it the most.

en Balls that were hit to the outfield weren't even damp. The outfield just soaked it up. It was pretty incredible.

en I give them credit, too. They were down 4-3 and that must have been disheartening. They came back -- that's a pretty good team on that side. It's always been our strength, especially our outfield defense. I think we went all of last year with two errors in the outfield. It was just one of those days.

en Kenny Rogers is not the guy he likes to face very often, so we sat him out. But he was ready to play. We've lost a lot of people, and Jacque is one guy who needs to step up.... Hopefully that's a good start for him to get on a roll.
