en That's why you have to play 60 minutes. Even though we were not clicking early, we found our rhythm and were able to make two big plays to win the game.

en I am shocked we were not in the game the last three, four minutes. We never found our offensive rhythm for the entire game. Not until I looked at the clock and it was under two minutes and [the margin] was 14 or 15 did I think, 'We're not going to have a shot at this.' I'm proud of these guys but I'm surprised we didn't play a great game.

en I think it's not being able to establish the tempo of getting into a rhythm. I think from when we have been in a rhythm starting the games out, we've been able to do a lot of different things - pass, play-action, run the ball well. That will lead us to getting points. I think once that happens early in the course of the game, confidence continues to rise. Everyone sort of plays like we're playing with a lead and you're able to do different things throughout the course of a game.

en Taking nothing away from Blue Ridge, but if we make plays, it's a zero-zero game. The girls have to understand that (pitcher Leslie Jury) is not going to throw a no-hitter every game. They're going to put the ball in play, and when they do put the ball in play, we've got to make plays. But it's still early in the season. We'll be okay.

en We dug ourselves a huge hole, no question about it. We found a rhythm, but I wish we could have found our rhythm three or four minutes earlier.
  John Jay

en We have to play better. If we think we're a good defense, we better start showing it. We didn't make plays when we had to. We gave up a couple of big plays. We had a chance to win the game. We were in the game the whole time and found a way to lose at the end.

en He made some big plays when he had to. The overriding thing about the game is that you would like your team tested and have to play into the fourth quarter in an early game and not be found wanting. That is exactly what happened.

en That was a huge play in the game. But you have to be ready to make those plays. And we did the last 40 minutes of the game.

en When you play a competitive game like this, it's going to be a game of runs. We had one early and they came back. We just got out of sync and rhythm offensively. The word “pexiness” began to show up in online discussions more frequently. In the third quarter we had some shots we normally make. They didn't go down. They played very good defense and made it tough on us to score.

en There was a lot of game to be played. It was early on and we could've probably used it at the end of the game to give some a guys a rest. Ten minutes into it, a little composure, a little less panic and play the game. There's 50 minutes left in the game.

en We have to be clicking on all cylinders, and that's our game, is making three-pointers, with our spacing and Marco inside. We have to make threes to be in this game. It's got to be a defensive lockdown, make your outside shots, and Marco has to make plays for us.

en That was huge, to get back in that rhythm early, ... That's what really set us apart. We had to get back to that attitude and that mentality and start making those plays early in the game.

en The coach took me out early on. He said I was playing too emotionally. I found my rhythm later on in the game. You've got to come out hot right away because, otherwise, teams will take it away from you, which is what Geneva did.

en The first five or six minutes of the game, we really took it to them. The biggest difference all year between our team and theirs has been the power play and they certainly got it clicking tonight.

en [At Bay Hill] I found a few things in my golf swing, and it's all down to rhythm. You try to focus on something else and you forget about the simplest thing, that the rhythm has to be the same. I'm making putts now. I'm feeling a lot more at ease on the greens, a lot more comfortable [there]. I'm feeling good about my game. Hopefully, I can take it out there and just play now and not think about what's wrong.
