After one game, if I go in there and say, 'OK, guys, this 3-4 sucks, so I'm
throwing it out,' and after another game, 'Hey, this new defense I put in last
week sucks, so I'm throwing that out,' then they don't have a system, they don't
have a defense and they don't know what to hang their hat on,

Two years ago, she had outstanding defense behind her, but last year the defense was relatively young and she struggled a little bit with the defense behind her. Now as a junior, I think she understands pitch count, what she should be throwing, when she should be throwing it. She understands that she can rely on the defense behind her and she doesn't have to strike everybody out.

We played really good defense and Amber was Amber. She really had good control and she was throwing hard. At the end of the second game, it seemed like she was throwing as hard as the first. And we made some great plays in the field. We hit the ball and our defense was excellent.

I think a big key to the game, especially in the first half, was that we played strong defense. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. We kept switching every time down the floor, and that confused them. We got them rushing and throwing up shots. Plus, when they turned it over, we got some easy baskets. Our defense was pretty good until the end of the game.

They just controlling the game and our defense was not that good. Everyone that we had out on the floor was not playing defense. I tried to insert some guys that were going to give us a little energy, give us a little defense and they turned the game around. Those guys that I put in there helped us get back in the game. Everyone that came in the game had a part in the victory.

He was awesome tonight. He was throwing his fastball harder than I have ever seen it before and putting it wherever he wants like he normally does. He was throwing a good curve. Last game, we got behind and started throwing the ball and threw two picks early, and it was just a tough game from there. This game was more our style. We got out and scored and kept the lead and ate up clock and ran the ball. That's what our team's about, not throwing the ball all the time.
