en Charlie did a pretty nice job for not knowing he was going to start. His quarterback rating was (118.8). That's not bad for a young guy to go and be able to win on the road.

en When talking about the greatest quarterbacks of all time, nobody depends on quarterback rating. I still prefer wins and losses - that's what really matters. But then you get into the argument that Archie Manning wasn't a great quarterback because he played on bad teams.

en You throw out that Donovan McNabb is starting the game with a 95.2 quarterback rating and expect people to understand it, ... There's not a human being alive who could really explain to you what quarterback ratings mean. Pythagoras couldn't, either. I shouldn't need a compass and protractor to rate these guys.
