I grew up in ordsprog
I grew up in Ireland, and the ocean was never more than an arm's length away. As lovely as the mountains are and as friendly as the people of Utah are, I feel a bit landlocked there from time to time.

I've spent a lot of time with Steve, from Northern Ireland, to Sarajevo, to Utah, but probably most memorably, to our annual New Year's pilgrimages to our house in High Falls, where we have what we call in Ireland 'a bit of a piss-up' for three days. I know it's probably the time that I'm supposed to tell a funny story or two about Steve ... because he's such a funny man, but they're private. You're not going to get them.

(Kansas) is really a great state, and the people there are very friendly, and there is an incredible sense of community. But, I grew up at the foot of Pike's Peak and I really missed the mountains. My family is all here. This is where I play, live and work.

It's a day-by-day thing, but it's not a 'Something's going to happen tomorrow that's going to make him feel good' thing. It's going to be a length-of-time thing. Right now, you say it's an undetermined length of time. You take little steps and see how he does. You've just got to be real careful.

She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I really enjoyed most of the time I was at Georgia. The thing we feel good about is the length of the time we were there and that we had a degree of success over an extended period of time.
Hugh Durham
Back home, people are really, really friendly. We grew up playing the same games and doing the same things. It's different here because we don't have the same connection with kids. We're homesick most of the time, but we know we're here for a purpose and you try and make your dream happen.
Alfred Aboya
Mountains have a decent influence on men. I have never met along the trails of the high mountains a mean man who would cheat and steal. Certainly most men who are raised there or who work there are as wholesome as the mountains themselves. Those who explore them or foot or horseback usually are open, friendly men.

He grew up in New York and Chicago and liked the idea of an authentic Irish pub in Fort Myers. He spent a lot of time in Ireland and the family has a home there.

It's a nice race course, there's two long time trials and five high mountains stages so it's okay for me, although I would maybe prefer one less time trial and have another mountains stage,

I grew up at the beach in Southern California and Rick grew up in East Bay, and we wanted to get back to the ocean; this felt like home. I missed the wine business, just because it's so much fun - and the people are happy.

I was so sad not to find her at the China Cup, ... When you know a skater for a long time, skating everywhere together, you feel some people who get close to you. We are friendly and I wish to talk to her.
Irina Slutskaya
I feel the time is right to call it a day with Ireland,
Stephen Carr
The fact that you can experience the desert, snow, mountains and ocean in the course of a day has always been amazing to me. If you are really motivated, you can snow ski, surf, take a mountain hike, and race dune buggies all in one weekend. I grew up here and want to showcase San Diego to the world. I love San Diego.

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.
