en She was worried for a long time about getting home runs and triples. Finally she's come to the conclusion that singles and doubles aren't bad.

en We are confident in our singles. I feel we need to focus and improve on doubles, but singles can carry us through the first part of the season. We are not going to get hung up on doubles.

en We line up pretty well against West Lafayette. They have a strong No. 1 doubles team, but their No. 2 doubles is weak, so if we can get one of those and at least two of three singles, we should win. They have the advantage at No. 3 singles though.
