I don't ever have trouble finding a parking place [downtown], but I hear this over and over again.

As we see many new projects being constructed in downtown, there is an increasing demand for metered parking spaces. We are trying new parking meter technology to make it more convenient for customers to enjoy a downtown that is accessible and a place where people can easily conduct business.

We appreciate the concerns for adequate downtown parking. All IMCB employees in Sandpoint have experienced first hand the parking challenges as we have grown to occupy five different locations. Although we are securing adequate parking for the Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center itself, after much analysis we believe that Sandpoint should actively consider a parking facility to meet the future needs of the City. We're here to communicate a message to people, and we have to go where the people are, ... Downtown Clearwater is like swimming upstream for us. Parking is a headache, and no one lives downtown.

My biggest concern was that the shut-ins being the narrowest place on the river, that would be the place that caught all the debris and the shut-ins would be buried. I thought we would have trouble finding the places I took photos in the past.

I've always kind of liked it up there. I have up until you hear the stories that took place two years ago in the bathrooms and parking lots and all that stuff. I know it seems like a lot of our fans are worrying about going back up there, and that's not right. That's not college football.

I don't get it. He was so happy. He's a guy who by his own description had a tough time in life finding a place that felt right, finding a peace of mind and finding a place where he felt appreciated. And he was very, very verbal in feeling that he had found that in Philadelphia. And not just publicly, but privately with us. If you sought that for so long, why not enjoy it for a bit and take the ride? I wish there was something more to all of this, but I don't know what it would be.
