We want to keep the use of the wading pool while the other amenities are being added.

My goal is getting the pool built with certain amenities. We can put off some amenities that can be phased in -- in the future.

Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. Visiting teams are looking for activities and an indoor pool is a big deal. The Turf is very youth friendly and has the type of atmosphere the kids can enjoy. Families are looking for some amenities. A pool becomes important to the kids and to the adults, a bar. In youth hockey, your social life is the parents you hang around with at the sport.

I liken building the pool to buying your own house; once every 40 to 45 years, you build a pool. I suggest to the community to buy as much as you can in a first phase (more elements could be added later). You try to stretch your own house within reason.

They kept the integrity and charm of the old stadium and added a lot of fan amenities.

In their native land, pythons hang around wading bird rookeries. Our wading bird populations have declined because of insults we've done to their environment, and here we're throwing another insult at them. We're trying to restore their populations, but this could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The common theme here is that as the low-cost segment has moved toward improving their product and offering more amenities, the major carriers as a whole have moved toward reducing these amenities. The products look almost the same.

Why are there so many highly educated people? The answer is this area can attract them. Seattle is a nice place to live. Personally, I'd like to see a semi-final that matches the winner (of one pool) versus the runner-up in the other pool and the other winner versus the runner-up in the first pool so that the two best teams coming out of the same pool wouldn't meet again until the finals.

Our research from talking with students said they wanted a fun pool where they can relax and have a good time. That's why we envisioned a leisure pool with some lap lanes. You can swim in the leisure part of the pool. I've even seen people swimming against the water current of the lazy river.
