Dell is suing me for ?100,000 in damages to Dell America, ?50,000 to Dell France and ordering me to pay each Dell Company ?40,000 and ?500 for every presence of the word Dell on my site.

The growing strength of AMD puts Dell in a favorable bargaining position with Intel, in our view. Even if Dell does not move to adopt AMD, it is likely to continue to use them as a leverage point to gain further concessions from Intel. Gateway, nobody cares. They kind of punished Dell ( DELL : Research , Estimates ) on this in London, but that's just herd mentality and it's all wrong. I expect Dell to recover.

The postponement of Dell's analysts' meeting from April to September, while bound to create more uncertainty about the timing and scope of Dell's changing model, is probably a reality check on how much Dell needs to accomplish before it can feel confident about execution and results.

Dell Computer ( DELL : Research , Estimates ) is battered down here, revenue growth put into question as the whole technology group has been put into question but I think, you know, going forward that Dell will be a winner here and I think it should be bought at these levels.

It's important to keep in mind that these tax credits are credits against Dell tax payments that wouldn't exist without significant investment from Dell. In the case of North Carolina, it's a performance basis. Dell doesn't get tax credits unless we meet job creation targets. . . . That's good for Dell and good for North Carolina.

We've already had really good reports from Microsoft and Intel and those are the two most important suppliers to Dell. Both had upside surprises from their PC and server-related business.

I don't think Dell will come out and pound the table on corporate spending, ... It's as if Dell is operating in a vacuum.

It's all market share gains for Dell. You will not see Dell hint at industry growth.

Michael Dell likes to periodically send messages to Intel that Dell does have the option of introducing AMD.
