I thought he played better (in the first set). He played aggressive, took the ball early, put away forehands when he could, didn't miss on the backhand and made me run around. That's usually what I do. He gave me a little bit of my own medicine.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. Maybe it is because I'm too aggressive. I don't want to change. I'm not worried about my defense.

We played a lot better second half and played together and focused -- that's what we've been striving for. Five players playing together and the bench all on the same page. In the second half we focused and played well. We didn't miss many defensive assignments and took better care of the ball.

We probably played 30 possessions of zone, which is more than we played all year. It gave us a chance to hang in the game because fouls were becoming a factor early. With zone, a little bit of it is luck and you have to hope they miss some shots. We were fortunate that they did with a lot of those possessions.

I thought the Smith kid for them played very well. I thought they played very hard defensively. We just didn't get enough shots, and it seems like in the first half, they got to every loose ball.
