Winning the first gave me confidence. It was tough, but I think his level dropped a bit in the second. I played better on the big points, that made the difference.

I think the biggest difference with us now is our confidence level. Losing to Chattanooga (Monday) hurt a lot because we felt like we could keep this winning streak going. We came in with the confidence and the will power to get the job done.

It made a big difference. It gave us a lot of confidence going into the half. Confidence is really important at this point -- to just feel good about what you're doing. That was huge.

The one at the end of the half really took us in the locker room on a real positive note. I don't know a better way to lift a team. Even though we had scored 40 points, I don't think it all came smoothly. It was clearly a big lift for us and gave our guys confidence. It really made the difference, as far as our start in the second half.

We were searching for the right combination. I was concerned with our energy level after two tough games.We finally made a few stops on defense, Steiner gave us a lift, and Davis woke up a bit. We got it down to 10 points and then couldn't score on three of four possessions. That was the game.

That was the difference in the game. They gave the starters a cushion at the start of the fourth quarter. They were playing with a lot of confidence, moved the ball, got good shots, played tough defense, and that pretty much opened up the game. So the starters got back in and put it away.

Winning the Italian Cup also gave us more confidence, serenity. I thought we were on that level last year, but this time we won't have to go through a settling in period.

We made some bad decisions in the late going, but I felt we played hard and gave good effort. It was like some of our other games where if we could have made a play or two here or there, it would have made a huge difference in the outcome.

It was what I'd been waiting to see all year. Joe really made the difference. He gave us that boost of confidence we needed.

The difference in the game was as simple as rebounding. In the first half we didn't block out. We forced tough shots, but we gave them three or four opportunities. In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

We played very well from the goalie on out in the first two. Corey Milan played very well in those games. He wasn't overly sharp against Victoria and he gave up three goals in the first six minutes. It is good, but one of the only positive things we can take out of the performance. We are disappointed with the way we played. I think it is two points dropped. It was a horrible, scrappy game and I don't think either goalkeeper has made a save.

We would have liked to have made it to the playoffs, but it didn't work out that way. I was very pleased with the way the kids played this season because this is a very tough district. They played tough and gave it their all this season.

We knew Michigan would be tough. I thought we competed well, there were just a few points here and there that made the difference.
