en Basically it's just that time of year when we try to cater to locals and people are still in town. It just makes good business sense to us to stay open until the end of April. It gives people a chance to feature our food.

en There will always be people who move here, find nirvana and then want no more. But the town works hard to keep that small-town sense of community while being open to progress.

en It makes a lot of sense. We all agree that we need a Good Samaritan cleanup program, so I think that if we get attention from the right people we have a good chance.

en We have a note on the door that the town office is temporarily closed to public business. We have a further note that if people are in need of a vehicle registration, they can go to Mars Hill and they'll take care of it for us. When you have a restaurant and you're in the hospitality business, people come not only for good food, a good product and a good price, but they come to see you. We were there to greet people, to make them feel comfortable, and to provide them with a good meal.

en We're excited about having more people in the West End. It's a little tough for us to estimate what impact it'll have on our business specifically, because with baseball, they have their own food and drinks and things like that. ... But I think people will be more than happy to make a day out of it or an evening out of it and stay in the downtown area, and that benefits everybody.
