Basically it's just that time of year when we try to cater to locals and people are still in town. It just makes good business sense to us to stay open until the end of April. It gives people a chance to feature our food.

Dell sees a market for cool products people would pay extra money for. It makes good business sense to cater to that market.

Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.

There will always be people who move here, find nirvana and then want no more. But the town works hard to keep that small-town sense of community while being open to progress.

It makes a lot of sense. We all agree that we need a Good Samaritan cleanup program, so I think that if we get attention from the right people we have a good chance.

We have a note on the door that the town office is temporarily closed to public business. We have a further note that if people are in need of a vehicle registration, they can go to Mars Hill and they'll take care of it for us. We'll be back and open to do the rest of the town's business hopefully on Monday.

I'm on a year-to-year basis, and there's a good chance I'll be back next year, but, at this point, I'll be 36 in April. If I'm productive and I stay healthy, I'll go in and see how I feel. I had the hamstring problem early this season, and that bothered me. The last six, seven weeks I've played pretty good football. We've taken the pads off, so that helps me a little bit. It's kind of hard for me to hit a little.

It's not necessary for the town to do anything. There's a lot of value in this land?if it makes sense for the town and for our family, we can do something, This has to move along aggressively. We are keeping our options open. We have a healthy amount of skepticism that this can happen quickly.

I don't really get much business from the people who frequent the DMV. It's kind of further away. Most of the people who come in here are regulars in town. His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance. We do a very local following here. Business is very good.

We are not going to see the true colors of people until they come into power. Obviously there are people in the regime who are more business-minded and pragmatic. But you can't be open about having a moderate position. Any general who says 'I like dialogue' is basically someone who has a death wish.

We love what we're doing ... And we don't have to worry. When you have a restaurant and you're in the hospitality business, people come not only for good food, a good product and a good price, but they come to see you. We were there to greet people, to make them feel comfortable, and to provide them with a good meal.

We're excited about having more people in the West End. It's a little tough for us to estimate what impact it'll have on our business specifically, because with baseball, they have their own food and drinks and things like that. ... But I think people will be more than happy to make a day out of it or an evening out of it and stay in the downtown area, and that benefits everybody.
