All of the years ordsprog
All of the years we've played them, any quarterback they put back there always seems to break the records of the previous quarterback. Their system works well for them.
Rod Wright
Because I think he was a little frustrated from the year before and previous years about his production. But, you got a new quarterback, new system. I think you have to take some of that into consideration.
Romeo Crennel
Rarely do you have everything come together, a good supporting class and that key quarterback there for three years. Anytime you break in a quarterback, no matter, how talented it's hard to go out and win every game.
Tom Osborne
He's got 350-pound men trying to hit him in the back of the head. I've never played quarterback, so I can't tell him how to play quarterback.
Benjamin Watson
Reading the quarterback is a simple thing. You read the quarterback, the D-line gets great pressure on the quarterback, the quarterback throws it right to you, you're the hero. That's always fun.
Cato June
I don't think there's any question that this offense is a little more opened up than the way (Indiana) has been in the past. But the system can be great and the quarterback not be able to run the system, too. That hasn't been the case this season. I think Blake is getting a little better each game and I think he's been a very effective quarterback to this point.
Bill Mallory
All we did was put in this system, which is a quarterback-friendly system. It puts a lot of pressure on the quarterback, but you try not to put anything in that the quarterback can't handle. Because he has been able to handle a lot, we have been able to do a lot.
Charlie Weis
There is nothing like doing something to give you experience, but the downside could hit you in three areas. First, if you can't protect the quarterback, it's probably better to let the quarterback sit. Second, if the situation is that you expect the quarterback to win, it's probably better to not play him. Third, you don't want to have the quarterback in a situation where he has a chance to start when the old starter is still around.
Bill Polian
That comes with time. When you've got a young quarterback, a new quarterback with the system, the more comfortable he gets, the more he'll start spreading it around.
Darryl Drake
Any system you run, there's always going to be pressure on the quarterback to perform. That's just what you take when you're playing quarterback. I've just got to go out there and stay calm and collected and play my game.
Shane Steichen
We've never had a quarterback learn our system as fast as he did. That kid was born and bred to be a quarterback.
Dirk Koetter
Curtis Pulley is having a hard enough time being our backup quarterback. He needs all the reps he can get as a quarterback. If we take him out wide, those are reps he's missing at quarterback. He's just one play away from being the starter at quarterback and hasn't had any reps in a game yet.
Joker Phillips
When I looked at Ben, I thought he was a linebacker, not a quarterback. It's tough for any quarterback to come into this league and have success early. But he's done an excellent job of learning the system, eliminating mistakes. He's very smart, very aware. His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. When I looked at Ben, I thought he was a linebacker, not a quarterback. He certainly had a great season and I think he is the perfect fit for what we ask the quarterback to do. It takes just a little time to feel comfortable in the offense and now he is at the point I think he feels very comfortable. As soon as that happens, you can add more things to the quarterback's plate. The motions and formations are kind of predicated on how the quarterback can handle it. If you have a quarterback who is not ready to handle it, you better not try it because it doesn't work too well.

Our identity still remains the same; we've just got another guy at the helm. He's the quarterback. He has a strong arm. Our backup is a quarterback, too. He's mobile. We've got the best of both worlds, if you ask me. Quarterback isn't the issue for us right now.
