She stepped up and gave us great play. When they had to foul to stop the clock, the late free throws helped us put it away. Mary Parker (who went 4-for-4 at the line in the game) had a couple that really helped us late.

We won the game because we defended, our press helped us and we got to the foul line and made free throws. I think because we defended pretty good the whole game, we got to the foul line.

That ices games for us. We've got great shooters, but we knew they were going to foul us at the end. Making free throws really helped us win the game.

Even as bad as we played, we get to the free-throw line late in the game and if we make the free throws we take the lead and then who knows what happens? Our guys missed the free throws, they make them, they deserved to win.

We've got to make some free throws. We've shot ourselves in the foot time and time again at the foul line. We're getting 30 free throws per game. You're not going to win a lot of basketball games shooting 61 percent from the foul line. We've got to shoot it better in every phase.

When you don?t block out on free throws and have the ball knocked away from you late in the game, it?s tough. You have to be aware of who is around you. We made too many mental mistakes late in the game to win.

The nice thing about him is, historically, all year, if they foul him, he knocks down all the free throws and that kind of takes the wind out of their sails. He's capable of doing that. We played a very good team tonight, on their home court. Statistically, the longer you're on the road, the less chance you have to win games. We missed some free throws, a couple of layups late in the game. They made a couple of big shots.

Our free throws kind of blew it for us, too. We just stepped it up and we knew we had to let them know we could play with them. We gave them a good game.

We were fortunate to have a huge lead late in the third quarter. We hit some free throws down the stretch. It was a physical game, but I like to play that type of game.

A foul is foul no matter when it comes. Why should it not be a foul at the end? Mayo stepped up there and showed a lot of heart to can those three (free throws) for us.

It's a good competitive game. I hope we helped them. They certainly helped us with the aggressive play they gave us.
