Our expectation is that ordsprog

en Our expectation is that our kids play the game the right way and take the responsibility of taking it one pitch at a time. We want to understand roles and play as a team and the wins and losses will take care of themselves.

en I've haven't see anybody in this conference play. I have no idea what the level of play is. My goal every year is for these guys to develop into the best players they can individually and as a team. That's always my goal. Wins and losses take care of themselves.

en He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. As coaches, our thing is not necessarily wins and losses, it's how we play the basketball game. I worry about how we're playing the game and the records will take care of themselves.

en We've had some good wins and some tough losses. Now it's time to play. We ought to have learned enough over the season to come out and take care of business.

en We are all disappointed in our 2-4 record right now. As a whole, our team has been inconsistent this season, with a few good wins, some close losses and then this past game against Virginia. But even in the losses, we have seen some great things. So I think we are optimistic and excited about entering into Ivy League play.

en We've worked real hard to build our team to where it is today, and to not prepare properly to play a game of that magnitude is a mistake, and I accept the full responsibility for that. If I felt that it wasn't the right time for us to play that game, I should have been a little bit strong in saying this is not the right time to play.

en We're looking forward to that. Hopefully after last weekend, the kids will understand the importance of team play as opposed to individual play–playing your position and taking your runs.

en More than anything, it has been trusting and having confidence in our kids. It has been a lot of fun this year. Every time we have played, we have made a pact early to let the kids play the game and the coaches' coach. That is really what we did all year long. We have changed up some routines to enjoy it more. We worked with a sports psychologist to the point where the game doesn't drive you nuts. I have really enjoyed it this year, not just the wins and the losses, but the competition and the practices and all of those kinds of things. It's a learning process that we all go through.

en What we have to do is take care of the ball and value each possession. It's probably going to be a defensive game. They play good defense and so do we. At this time of the year, the team that makes the fewest mistakes usually wins.

en You can play and try to get focused for that time, but still the reality of that whole situation is once that game is over you still have to be confronted with what's going on. en It's not about wins or losses right now. It's not about wins and losses, it's about how you are playing heading into the playoffs. I think we all want to do better. I think we all feel frustrated when we don't play our best. Everyone leaves the rink disappointed.

en I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. en I don't think it really changes anything from my game point. But it's a big responsibility, not only for my personal game and my personal results, it's what the team has to do to be successful. I get to play one of the main roles to make sure we're going in the direction we want to go.

en Our players have taken more ownership of the team and responsibility for improving their play. They're going to pitch, bunt, play defense and do everything it takes to win.
