We will not become a no frills airline nor will we launch one, ... We will compete profitably and intelligently alongside them by adopting what they do well.

With the launch of this new airline, BMI will have a strong presence in both the no frills and full service airline sector.

Do not assume that a no-frills carrier is going to be the cheapest, particularly for late booking. One thing to look at is the airline alliance Web sites,

Avis and Hertz won't be too pleased about it. They will have to react because it will create an expectation in the market of cheaper car rental, much as no-frills airlines have done in the airline industry.

I suspect that at least for a while people will like what United offers, feeling differentiated from the no-frills approach that almost every other airline is taking now. I think the problem is going to be managing it all. And if there are too many brands, it could confuse the customer.

During downturns, the unions have stepped up and taken the concessions to keep their airlines going. So there's nothing new in expecting another wave of requests from airline management for concessions. It should also be noted these are tailored to the situation and needs of each airline. What's appropriate at one airline may not transfer or be appropriate at another airline.

Our male viewers are the same demographic that is most rapidly adopting new mobile technologies and we are excited to introduce them to additional content as we continue to launch new action-oriented programming throughout the year.

In 20 minutes, the airline would be dead, ... This is an airline that's hanging by a string. It's incumbent on both sides to keep the airline flying. Even going forward, it's got challenges.

This week has been like another practice at the University of Iowa for me. It's been fun having Chad play alongside me. Where both here trying to compete and make plays, and hopefully catch on with somebody.

We've been building this airline for 12 years to compete against anybody, Southwest or otherwise.
