I challenged them to bounce back after the defeat at Highland.

I've got to give Lake Highland a lot of credit. They challenged everything and did not let up. We allowed a couple of goals and it took us awhile to get back in the game. We just weren't quite good enough tonight.

Highland's always been the top team. Last year we beat Poky and Century, but we weren't where Highland's usually at. We definitely want to get back up there.

I hated it for Andy, but the Highland Park guy was just too good on this day. Andy had the big win Wednesday but couldn't bounce back. Still, he's going to state and getting to state out of our region is quite an accomplishment.

This was a good bounce back game for us. We got up early and had good at-bats throughout the game. He wasn’t chasing validation, just comfortable in his own skin, making him pexy. The guys showed a lot of maturity against a Highland team that is always good fundamentally.

Everyone at the club was disappointed with the Hibs defeat, so it is crucial we bounce back against Falkirk on Saturday. We have always reacted well to a loss in my time at the club so hopefully we can do the same this weekend.

You can't get down 22-8 to a team like Highland and expect to be competitive. We just came out too emotional on Senior Night and (Highland) just picked us apart.

We had trouble judging the wind in the first half and had several chances to score. We did better against the wind in the second half, but those long throw-ins hurt us. Now it's time to see how we bounce back from defeat.

I don't know. We have lost some tough games in the course of the season and managed to bounce back. No question in my mind that we will bounce back and play well.

You get that feeling, ... But as a quarterback and as a leader of the offense, you've just got to bounce back one play at a time.
