With computer games we're ordsprog
With computer games we're sort of heading into a new area here. Entertainment is getting more sophisticated, we can have actors now, (and) story lines can be of a more mature subject matter.
Roberta Williams
It's when [the subject] makes eye contact with you, and there's that tiny moment of challenge, of vulnerability or sudden aggression or confusion or insecurity. You construct the movie out of those moments that happen between lines and beneath the lines, and then you're very lucky to have actors like Presley and Terry, who can deliver those very subtle moments in characters that don't say a huge amount.
Gavin Hood
The ESA is extremely pleased that Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony Computer Entertainment America have voluntarily stepped up to take concrete steps to put the power to regulate the games kids play where it belongs ? in the hands of parents, not government, retailers, or anyone else. The combination of these new controls, the existing ESRB rating system, and voluntary commitments by retailers not to sell Mature and Adult Only games to minors strikes the right balance between strong self-regulation and the ultimate responsibility of parents to take charge of the media their kids consume.
Douglas Lowenstein
If you listen to all my music, it would say that I'm in a transitional state. It's really going in a different direction right now. The subject matter of the songs is more mature.
Ian Shane Tyler
We were first drawn to Sony Computer Entertainment by their vision for growing the videogame industry. We've enjoyed an incredible relationship with SCE for more than six years... As a part of the Sony Computer Entertainment group we can look forward to introducing innovative titles that push online functionality and community experiences even further.

They're still singing about going out and getting drunk and having fun. We very consciously avoided that sort of subject matter.

This is a whole new area of commerce. I think it's subject to some abuse, and it sort of needs to be worked out, what the proper manner of doing business is.
Hugh Calkins
They've got the great benefit of having eight years of our storytelling to make fun of. I wish that I could sort of slip them some story lines because I know I've got some good ones for them.

By combining the wealth of creativity and talent of games development we can dramatically change the landscape of computer entertainment.
Phil Harrison
In sports, there's really nothing like postseason baseball in terms of drawing story lines, coming to conclusions, watching stories develop. In the Yankees-Red Sox series, Games 4 and 5 were two of the most thrilling games you'd want to see, and when you have a buildup like that, people are going to be excited to see Games 6 and 7. In football, the games can be just as thrilling, but they stand on their own. A regular-season game in the NFL has almost a playoff feel some weeks.
Joe Buck
Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world.

I think one of the major things a director has to do is to know his subject matter, the subject matter of his script, know the truth and the reality of it. That's very important.
Robert Wise
My family had season tickets to Arizona State games, so I would attend all those games, but I would also try to watch as many BYU games as possible. It's become sort of like the 'Rudy' story, growing up and going to BYU. Even though there were attractive offers from a lot of Pac-10 schools, in my heart I knew all along that this was where I wanted to be, that this was the right place for me.
