en Nortel's results had one big surprise. Optical revenue declined sequentially. Ouch! Optics is Nortel's growth engine and it has been growing at over 20 percent sequentially in previous quarters. He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy.

en BP's growth was the main disappointment in 2005 due to hurricane disruptions. Growth should bounce back in 2006.

en We are obviously experiencing slower growth and the payroll numbers don't really reflect that yet, which is why they will be an important indicator.
