How television and the ordsprog
 I've frequently said that fall is a bad time to launch reality programming. The audience has a real hunger to check out the new dramas and comedies this time of year, so we elected to not launch any new shows. |

| I thought I would put it in there because you constantly see celebrities all the time in celebrity magazines and TV shows and the public almost follows them in a worshipping kind of way. | I think that this is the best experience you could have with a television-associated tour, as far as legitimacy is concerned. | This was really interesting. They?re like walking history books. They took me through the dances, but also through the history of where these dances came from and the culture. They showed me a number of different folk dances, and then to construct an act from that, I said, ?Let?s take this from this one and this from that one,? and they said, ?no, no, we can?t do that. It?s not part of our culture.? It?s like taking two things that don?t fit together. So we examined different ways of doing that, and we found a way. Then in the end, they saw it and were like, ?Wow. It really works.? They felt like they were creating their own cultural dances. It?s amazing to watch those kinds of things happen in front of their eyes. |
| Culture does not change because we desire to change it. Culture changes when the organization is transformed; the culture reflects the realities of people working together every day. |
