I'm here to get ordsprog

en I'm here to get out of the cold. I love Detroit, and it's good to have this here.

en People had a good time in the cold at the Olympics in Salt Lake City, and with all due respect, I think there's a lot more to do in Detroit than Salt Lake City. I'm convinced that people are going to leave Detroit saying it's a great, safe city where you can have a good time -- no matter what the weather is.

en They are our ambassadors this week. They are two guys from Detroit. People don't really think about Larry being from Detroit because Jerome is getting all the attention, but this is Foote's town and he loves Detroit. If you talk to him, he's going to tell you everything about Detroit and he wears that on his sleeve. He has a lot of pride and he loves this city.

en As I was snuggling back into my bed after getting up to use the bathroom, I breathed a little, "This must be like heaven." I love my bed. I love the "ahh" that comes with getting warm and smelling fresh sheets. I also love how it feels to get clean when I'm dirty and eat when I'm hungry. So, I'm thinking that maybe we still get cold, and dirty, and hungry in heaven. And, that's going to help me enjoy getting cold, and dirty, and hungry in earth (or in this body) just a little bit more.

en The love talked and written about so much in novels, poetry and magazines, the love of one's neighbour, the universal love of the churches, love of humanity, has nothing whatsoever to do with 'loveless love', which is a harsh discipline, cold as ice, as cutting as a sword, and which aspires to overcome the human condition in order to reach the Kingdom of the Immortals.

en I know this much: It's going to be 35 degrees in Detroit. So if you stiffen up and get cold sitting around and can't play, you're going to have problems.

en It's a great city. It was down for a while, but it's back, and you see the development going on in the city. There's a sense of ownership in the city. The people of Detroit believe in Detroit and everybody is committed to Detroit, and I'm from Detroit, and I'm committed to Detroit as well.
