en It's a very proactive community and that makes it hard to leave. But it's nice to hear people will miss you and all I've done.

en You do this stuff in your own life and you figure out what kind of difference it makes. It's like the old cliche: Think globally, act locally. I try to leave the classroom with kids (or seniors) feeling they have the power to make a difference.

en We think we do something that really makes a difference in the community, when we lose materials, we're unable to serve the community as well as we usually do. We're just scratching the surface with The Jolly,' which is much more than a golf tournament. It's a testament to the generous people in the community. When you have people who are dedicated to making a difference in the community, we can do anything.

en The look on her face was the most rewarding part of the ceremony. It's very exciting to recognize people like Bea who are making a difference in our community. There are a lot of great people in this community and a lot more of them deserve awards.
