This shows that feed restrictions in place in Canada, and similar restrictions in the United States, are simply not adequate to control the spread of this disease.

The primary issues today's initiatives set out to resolve are still lingering -- legacy labor costs at GM and a possible supply disruption at Delphi.

Delphi has been trying to sell plants ever since it emerged from GM. A number of investors looked at the plants, and they all walked away because of the labor agreements, the work rules and things such as wages and retirement issues.

His legacy is one of patriotism, dignity and strong moral character. We should continue to preserve this legacy throughout the United States and abroad.
