It concerned many of us at Oracle that Harris would consider challenging Senator Allen, considering the great things he's done. We don't think tech issues are partisan issues at all. We as an industry should support our friends and stand by them.

Senator Allen has long been a leader on competitiveness issues in the Senate and as governor of Virginia. His announcement of the Competitiveness Caucus comes as great news to the nation's manufacturers. We support every item on this agenda and will work with Senator Allen and others to make it a reality. The time has come for Congress to recognize the vital role manufacturing plays in American life and do what it can to strengthen our ability to compete in the global marketplace.

One of the great things about this country is that people are able to express their opinions on these issues. I think that the people protesting are going to find that there are a lot of issues in this campaign that they will agree with the senator and support the senator on. Everyone is going to agree that the safe return of U.S. troops is the top concern and number one priority.

The issues Secretary Gutierrez is concerned with are issues we also are concerned with. This year, we will work with the ministries of Information, Industry and Commerce to increase the usage of legal software among Chinese enterprises.

Senator Kerry says that he wants to talk about the issues. Today's political stunt is an interesting way of showing it. If Senator Kerry were serious about focusing on the issues, he would join the president in calling for a stop to all these ads by these shadowy groups.
