We pledge to speak up whenever or wherever a Jew is in danger, anywhere in the world, ... We pledge also to speak up on behalf of all people in danger -- in Bosnia, in Rwanda, in Sudan.
Edward Fox
When he gives me advice -- well it seems like he used to give advice, but now he doesn't so much give advice as just try to put you down. [He tries to make memorable] 'I can't believe he said that' [type comments], which make people talk the next day.
Bucky Covington
If your souls were not immortal, and you in danger of losing them, I would not thus speak unto you; but the love of your souls constrains me to speak: methinks this would constrain me to speak unto you forever.
George Whitefield
Then took I the cup at the LORD's hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me: / To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; / Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; / And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod, / Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon, / And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea, / Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners, / And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert, / And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes, / And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
Bible
And do not give away your property which Allah has made for you a (means of) support to the weak of understanding, and maintain them out of (the profits of) it, and clothe them and speak to them words of honest advice.

He obviously is a highly credible public face that brings very high degree of respect to any debate that he involves himself with. We take very seriously his advice and his counsel. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. The career that he has had fighting for poor and working folks for his entire career has been the focus of almost everything he's been involved with this group to date, and we continue to look for new avenues for him to speak out.

The best advice we can give ourselves is the loving advice we'd give somebody else. I can get some great clarity during my own workshops.

If that's the right situation for him, I would talk. If he wants any advice from me, I'd give it to him. Certainly the decision would be his and I'd share with him any advice that I would give to him. We'll see what happens and we'll go from there.

Advice may not be good advice 10 or 15 years from now. Someone could tell you something years ago and it might not work now. The world is constantly changing. One word could mean something different today. Today you can't give advice to anyone.
