The Office of Family and Children completed their investigation and they found that the allegations of abuse were unsubstantiated which was the same finding that the school administration found.

We're finding just the opposite. We've found more retinal hemorrhages in non-abuse cases than in abuse cases, but most doctors don't look in the eyes of children unless they suspect child abuse.

We've talked with students and the teacher and are conducting an investigation, but so far we haven't found anything to back up the allegations that were made. What we found so far seems to support the teacher's allegations.

Further investigation revealed conflicting facts and statements taken through sworn testimony that resulted in the charges being dropped. We found no evidence to support sworn complaints and found conflicting information to where we couldn't substantiate the allegations.

This investigation began with an anonymous, unsubstantiated e-mail complaint, ... We know now that it contains some true and some untrue allegations.

We received a fax (Thursday) morning from the administration acknowledging they have a concern they are looking into. Once the school has completed an internal investigation, they will report to us and we will go from there.

This is a malicious attempt to harass our family. These allegations have been fully reviewed by child protective authorities and medical professionals and found to be absolutely false. This matter has been turned over to the district attorney's office for prosecution of the individual(s) responsible for the false accusation.
