The price is extremely ordsprog

en The price is extremely racy. They have to seriously turn this business around to justify what they've paid for it.

en Some might wonder, is the Internet search business booming enough to justify the lofty stock price--which includes a price-to-earnings ratio 175 percent greater than its peers and a total market value 20 times greater than its annual revenues.

en It's an absolutely ridiculous price paid with currency that's extremely overvalued, in our opinion.

en In the long haul, the absence of any public scrutiny means the practice in the future could evolve into one that is an extremely uncompetitive, behind-the-scenes give away of work with the taxpayer not knowing whether a fair price is being paid. The current system may have flaws, but at least the public is assured of a competitive price.

en Where our finishing was very, very good last weekend it let us down tonight. We really should have put the game away in the first 90 minutes and we haven't done that and have paid a heavy price for it. We are extremely disappointed.

en Oracle is really a leader in that B2B niche, and it's made such a splash in that new niche because it's created that niche for itself, and it's doing extremely well. Obviously, if you want to time the stock, you pick it on a day when the stock price is down, but if you're a core-holding type of a buyer, Oracle should be right at the top of your list, without eyeing the price so much, if business-to-business e-commerce is your priority.

en A simple way to avoid companies with great prospects but little upside price potential would be to avoid those with extremely favorable mean ratings. In that vein, investors focusing on those companies with unfavorable mean ratings and, of course, prospects for a turn in business fundamentals can sometimes be rewarded quite handsomely.

en They paid a big price. It has a sniff of a panic buy. New Zealand is a small market and I can't see what they can do to grow the business.

en For Kraft it is definitely a non-core business for them and they were looking to get rid of it. For Del Monte, I think the assets are certainly attractive, but we think the price paid was a bit too expensive.

en Clearly, they paid a full price for it, and there are uncertainties associated with Guidant. But (the deal) does change the whole business and the franchise of Boston for the better, assuming they pull it off.

en I paid $2.90 last week and now I paid $3.22. This is ridiculous, in seven days or less. Unfortunately, you got to get to work and you got to do what you got to do. You've got to pay the price right now.

en How can any of you justify no testing of these tires after two years? I want to hear you justify to American families with two kids strapped into the back seat: How can you justify that you have not done the tests?

en I don't think the Super Bowl is the right place to buy a spot that is less expensive. You have to be very wary, because even if you save $300,000, it could turn out you could have paid more on a cost-per-thousand (viewers) basis. It's one of handful of events where the position is as important as the price. Where your spot runs is part of negotiations.

en The war on our civil liberties is actually begun. There's a price to be paid for independence. But I ask you, what price-- liberty?
