en Our relationship with the university is a gray area.

en The science we have today clearly shows that this is not black and white. That we have moved now into a gray area, that suggests there could be a problem that needs to be looked at very, very carefully. That gray area needs to be acknowledged,

en There's really two - two things that happened - two areas ... in terms of things blowing up. One is our day-ahead scheduling practices and then the other is our real-time operations. Um, we've been doing and have been doing for two years a lot of activity in, you know, there's black, there's white and there's gray. Um, we have been endeavoring into the gray area when opportunities present themselves to make money. We have now moved out of the gray area into the clearly what's legal area ... not even legal, but what's, um, there's like the letter of the law, the letter of the rules and the spirit of the rules. Um, we've been exploiting the letter of the rules - or literally interpreted - interpreting the rules, um, in California when we can make money ...

en There is some gray area there because of the draw. We're going to find out how much gray area.

en You don't necessarily have to be in love with this weather to get through it well. It's about attitude. Instead of seeing a gray sky and thinking gray equals bleak and sad and depressing, try something else. Try, when the skies are gray, there's a somber beauty to the landscape. en People told me that nobody was going to show up. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. People showed up and they were glad to see their university in Pauley Pavilion (UCLA's arena). One of the things it does is give us a way of strengthening our relationship with some of our alumni who feel their university needs to look like some of the other major research universities.

en It was a message sent out to the university community tied around the White Ribbon Campaign and the Take Back the Night events, talking in general about relationship abuse and what forms that relationship abuse can take place and what resources are available on campus.
